Privacy Policy
Lekkerbettingsites.co.za does not collect personal information from the people who read it. This page sets out what that means when you read a page, when you email us and when you follow a link to a betting site.
What the site asks you for
You cannot register on this site. It carries no newsletter, comment box, login or form of any kind, and the contact page gives one email address as the only way to reach us. Nothing on the site asks for your name, phone number, ID number or bank details, so we hold none of them.
Reading a page
When you open a page, your browser sends the usual technical request that every website receives. The company that hosts the site may keep short-lived logs of those requests for security and to keep the site running, and we do not use any such logs to identify readers or to build profiles.
If you email us
If you write to info@lekkerbettingsites.co.za, we will have your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to reply and for nothing else. We do not add it to a list, we do not pass it to an operator, and we delete the thread once the matter is closed.
Trackers, sharing and cookies
- Outside services: Google Fonts, which supplies the lettering, is the only other company our home page calls on when it loads, and the page loads no advertising network, analytics tool or social media pixel.
- Selling or sharing: the only reader details we ever see are the ones in an email you send us, and we do not sell them or pass them to any partner.
- Cookies: the cookie policy explains what a page on this site sets and what a betting site sets once you arrive there.
Leaving for a betting site
When you click through to an operator, you are on that operator’s site and under that operator’s privacy policy. Licensed bookmakers verify your identity under FICA. Hollywoodbets’ terms, for example, say FICA requires it to verify your identity before it can open an online betting account, and that it may ask for proof of your residential address before you bet or claim a payout, so read the operator’s privacy policy before you send your documents. The Visit buttons on our home page are plain links to each operator’s home page, with no tracking code in the address. Where a link is an affiliate link, it tells the operator which site sent you but not who you are, and it passes none of your details to us.
Under 18s
The site is written for adults aged 18 and over. Because no page asks for personal details, nothing is collected from a child who reads it either.
Changes
If the site ever starts collecting data, this page will change first and say exactly what, why and for how long. Until then it stays as it is.
